The full weekend program is designed for instructors who want to deepen their skills and expand their toolbox for working with clients of all levels and needs. Through a blend of lecture, hands-on practice, and ready-to-use programming, you’ll walk away with practical knowledge to apply immediately in your classes and private sessions.
Program Overview & CECs:
Saturday, Sept. 13th, 9am-4:30pm: “Movement for Low Back Conditions”
(6 hours | CECs: 6)
Learn how to work safely and effectively with common low back conditions, including disc injuries, stenosis, arthritis, and muscle spasms. Through lecture and practical application, you’ll develop a toolbox of exercises and progressions using both mat and studio equipment. You’ll experience focused sessions with both Nora and Brian.
Sunday, Sept. 14th, 9am-12pm: “Training Upper Body Stability, Mobility & Balance”
(3 hours | CECs: 3)
Deepen your understanding of the upper body’s complexity. Learn five essential principles for improving mobility, stability, and balance using mat, small props, and studio apparatus.
Sunday, Sept. 14th, 1:30pm-4:30pm: “Pilates and Osteoporosis”
(3 hours | CECs: 3)
Understand how to modify and program Pilates for clients with osteoporosis. Learn guidelines, contraindications, and safe, effective movement strategies to support bone health and minimize fracture risk
